Save the Date: Workers’ Memorial Day

Each year, April 28 is Workers’ Memorial Day, an international day of mourning and remembrance for workers who have been killed or seriously injured at work. Year-round, Kids’ Chance state organizations provide scholarships to children of workers who have been seriously or fatally injured on the job.

Kids’ Chance plans to observe this day in honor of the families we serve. Visit our website to learn more and to download our media kit. The Arizona Chapter of ASSP is a proud supporter of Kids’ Chance Arizona. Join us in recognizing the impact that a workplace fatality/serious injury has on the families of those hurt while working.

Virtual Health and Safety Summit Success!

Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone to participated in the 2021 Virtual Health and Safety Summit!!! We had an amazing planning committee this year to tackle the difficult task of doing a large scale virtual event for the first time ever. The event was a great success with 18 different presenters over 3 days and 13 different break sponsors. We had over 100 participants join us for this year’s professional development conference.

Let’s keep our fingers crossed, our masks on, and get vaccinated so we can guarantee that 2022 is an in person event!

If you need any resources from our break sponsors, you can check out their info here.
