Email Waterfall Deluge

Starting on 1/10/26 there was a technical issue with the company that hosted all ASSP Chapter/CIG/PS websites. The issue prevented registration emails being sent from the site. This issue was resolved yesterday evening. You may be getting a bunch of emails if you recently made multiple registration attempts in the past 2 weeks. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the February 6th technical meeting!

We are seeking nominations for the AZASSP Chapter Safety Professional of the Year and the Executive of the Year. This is an opportunity to recognize a colleague you know who has gone above and beyond for the advancement of the safety profession or providing employees a safe and healthy workplace. It’s a way to thank your company leadership for their commitment to protecting workers. Please reach out to nominations@az.assp.org if you have any questions about the process. We are more than happy to assist with the required paperwork.

Our Favorite Time of Year, OSHA Logs!

Not those kinds of logs, the OSHA 300 Log of Work-related Injuries & Illnesses and 300A Annual Summary form. Last year was the first year that required submittal to the OSHA Injury Tracking Application (ITA) of data captured on the OSHA 301 form, for employers with 100 or more employees, in specific industries. How do you know if your industry is covered? Check out the link below to the Appendix on OSHA’s website that outlines the industries covered.

Appendix B to Subpart E of Part 1904— Designated Industries for § 1904.41(a)(2) Annual Electronic Submission of Information From OSHA Form 300 Log of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses and OSHA Form 301 Injury and Illness Incident Report by Establishments With 100 or More Employees in Designated Industries.
