Karen Fann, State Senator for Arizona District 1-Prescott, will be on site from 10:30am to 11:00am for safety discussion. Ms. Fann is the owner and CEO of Fann Construction, a highway construction company specializing in the installation of guardrail and signs throughout the State of Arizona, which recently celebrated its 33rd business anniversary.

The technical speaker is: George Ruth

Presentation Title: The Foundations of Construction Safety and Busting the “Safety is Boring” Myth

Mr. Ruth is a former safety manager in the scaffolding industry with 18 years experience. He is OSHA 500 certified and taught OSHA 10 hour and OSHA 30 hour courses for construction in the Phoenix area for 10 years. Mr. Ruth is now managing his own business in the equestrian industry and moved to Prescott, AZ for family and entrepreneurial opportunities.

The technical presentation will last from 11:30am to 12:30pm and will be followed by a tour of the Robertson Aircraft Accident Investigation Laboratory from 12:30pm to 1:15pm.
