Here’s a little info about Nick:

I started my safety career in Aerospace Manufacturing in West Chester, OH.  My duties included creating, implementing, and training our maintenance team on LOTO; transitioning the company to Lean/Six Sigma; conducting tests on air quality and redesigning the facility’s HVAC; and maintaining, sampling, testing, and disposing of hazardous materials & hazardous waste.

While completing my Masters in Public Health (MPH), I transitioned to an Industrial Hygiene consulting firm based in Richmond, KY.  While in this role, I provided noise dosimetry, silica sampling, and ambient ethanol testing for various customers including various distilleries on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail.

After finishing my MPH, I joined Liberty Mutual Insurance as an Associate Consultant, working in Chicago, IL in the Risk Control Consulting Center before moving to Portland, OR to expand Liberty Mutual’s Consulting Center operations.  I then moved to Phoenix, AZ to provide safety consultative and industrial hygiene services to our business insurance customers in AZ, CA, CO, NM, TX, and UT; specializing in manufacturing & mining General Liability & Workers’ Compensation coverages.

Currently, I serve as a Technical Consultant in AZ & NM for Liberty Mutual’s largest customer, UPS, providing dedicated risk control services, collaborating with management and employees to reduce claim frequency & severity, training new managers & supervisors in behavioral safety techniques & corporate safety programs, conducting new building & equipment installations & modifications, and evaluating data to create & implement service plans that target sources of risk, loss, & costs for Auto and Workers’ Compensation.
