This month’s technical meeting will be a presentation/overview about working contract jobs (aka the gig economy) and will be facilitated by representatives from YellowBird.

The presentation will focus on:

  1. A better understanding of the gig economy as it relates to safety personnel
  2. Resume tips and tricks to freshen up your resume in 2022
  3. Why upskilling is important and how you can use it to add to your income

A brief abstract:  The post-pandemic labor landscape widened the knowledge gap, increasing risk, and threatening workers’ health and safety. An emerging trend invites highly skilled professionals to return through a reimagined gig economy marketplace that offers higher pay and flexibility. We’ll cover the top five megatrends in gig labor marketplaces and demonstrate success with Risk, Health and Safety professionals.

Your presenters are:

Abby Fenzel. She is the Director of Marketing & Communications for YellowBird. She’s worked in various communications roles for almost 10 years in a variety of industries. Abby is a 3rd Generation Arizonan with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from Northern Arizona University.

 

 

 

 

Derek Hogan has 12 years of sales and leadership experience, currently leading the sales team at YellowBird. Derek graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and is a season ticket holder for the Green Bay Packers.

This is the entrance you should go through. It is located on the east side of the building facing College Ave.

This is the elevator you should take to the 4th floor.

At the end of the hallway on the West side of the building, you’ll find room 459 where the meeting room is located.
