Our Favorite Time of Year, OSHA Logs!

Not those kinds of logs, the OSHA 300 Log of Work-related Injuries & Illnesses and 300A Annual Summary form. Last year was the first year that required submittal to the OSHA Injury Tracking Application (ITA) of data captured on the OSHA 301 form, for employers with 100 or more employees, in specific industries. How do you know if your industry is covered? Check out the link below to the Appendix on OSHA’s website that outlines the industries covered.

Appendix B to Subpart E of Part 1904— Designated Industries for § 1904.41(a)(2) Annual Electronic Submission of Information From OSHA Form 300 Log of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses and OSHA Form 301 Injury and Illness Incident Report by Establishments With 100 or More Employees in Designated Industries.
