FY24 February Technical Meeting

This month’s topic is: Safety Committees & Incentive Programs – a Panel Discussion

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear the pros and cons of incentive programs and how to set up effective safety committees. The panel will be a mix of construction and general industry Safety Managers as well as Consultants. This should be an interactive meeting so please bring your questions and ideas. We will have some predetermined questions for the panel based on the recent Professional Safety Journal December article on incentive programs from the Best Practices section. We encourage you to contact your ASSP chapter with questions you would like answered.

Current speakers are: Robert Murphy, District Safety Manager – Kiewit; Amber Pappas, Owner/Consultant – Safety Help Today, Joe Zaleski, Vice President Risk Management – Sunland Asphalt & Construction, and Reese Fortin, District HS&E Manager – Sundt Construction. The panel will be moderated by James Harrald, AZASSP Vice President.
