Bios of our Panelists:
Jon Cordoba, CHST, CIT, has dedicated over two decades to occupational safety in the construction and infrastructure industries. Jon has committed his career to creating safer working environments. His expertise has been pivotal in establishing safety programs and training that have served thousands of employees across the southwest. Jon isn’t just about theory; he’s a practitioner who has successfully applied his knowledge through his own enterprise, P3 Safety Solutions. His role as an instructor at the OSHA Education Center at Arizona State University further emphasizes his commitment to sharing his wealth of knowledge. Moreover, Jon’s involvement in various industry committees—such as the Arizona Governmental Safety Association and the American Society of Safety Professionals—shows his dedication to advancing occupational safety beyond his immediate surroundings.
Amber Pappas, CSP, ASP, CIT is a Certified Safety Professional and Workplace Safety and Health Consultant who has worked in the industry for over 20 years. She is the Co-Founder and President of Safety Help Today specializing in workplace safety and health compliance. She is a trainer for the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, Arizona Chapter National Safety Council, Arizona State University, and 3M. She serves as a board member on the OSHA Advisory Committee representing the needs of Arizona employees and employers and uses her extensive background and expertise to assist employers with OSHA compliance and investigations.
