Bio: Michele Hamm, Ph.D., an enthusiastic health and well-being professional and Industrial/Organizational Psychologist, integrates well-being strategy with organizational design to enhance employee health and engagement.Dr. Hamm began her career in the field of fitness and wellness with the Maricopa Community Colleges where she implemented physical training programs in conjunction with behavior change and intrinsic coaching techniques. As her career progressed to an employee wellness role, she noticed a disconnect between the view of wellness and a truly well workplace. Organizational messages indicate that employee health is important, yet,in many organizations, it is not an organizational priority. As a result, she pursued a Doctorate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology as a means of combining employee health with organizational culture.
