SARS-CoV-2 aka Coronavirus COVID-19 Resources

There have been a number of resources provided in the past couple of weeks regarding COVID-19. We have assembled them some of them here for you in case you need a centralized location for these resources. We’ll keep this list updated as the situation develops, but mostly try to point to those sources directly. Please feel free to share with us documents, infographics, or other resources you think would be helpful to members during this challenging time.

We wish you all safety and health during the upcoming weeks as we perform our jobs as Safety & Health Professionals. We are here to help as a resource in any way we can.

Thank you for attending ASSP’s Coronavirus Ask the Expert Q & A Session on Wednesday, March 18, 2020. Because of the audio difficulties we experienced during the call, we re-recorded the session and have posted an updated recording to our website. Please click here to access the recording and the presentation slides, or follow this link from our homepage. We will be posting a transcript of the session along with answers to additional questions received during the session soon.

Free Online OSHA Training Course

Limited Time Only

We are offering a free online course covering Portable Fire Extinguisher Use and Fire Prevention on our new online training platform. This course is FREE to anyone who, because of the Corona virus, is stuck at home in self-isolation, has been furloughed from work, is working from home, or is still at work but looking for something to do to stay productive when things get slow (it’s free for everyone else, too).

But let me warn you, this is NOT some brief, shallow online course. This course is the real deal, designed to help you meet Federal OSHA requirements for providing workers with an educational program covering these two topics. This free course comes with a PDF notes packet to download for use as you progress through the course, and learning is validated by module quizzes and a final exam. There is even a checklist you can print that covers any site-specific training or info that may be necessary. And for those who successfully complete this course, you can print your own personalized training certificate.

To register for your free course, simply follow this link (https://www.oshatraining.com/Online-OSHA-Training-Courses.php#FreePortableFireExtinguisherCourse) to the online training courses page on our website, and locate the listing for this free course (it’s the one that says FREE next to it). Then click the link for “More Info”. That will direct you to the information page for this free course. Next, click the “Purchase Course” button at the bottom of the page; but don’t worry, there is no charge for the course. All you have to do is click that button and register for the course, and when you’re done you can access your online training course and train at your own pace – for free! Also, check your inbox for a confirmation e-mail with a link to log back into your course at a later time, if you wish.

NOTICE: This course is available FREE for a very limited time to any person, whether they are employed or not. Even students and interested individuals are invited to take this free course. We do, however, request that corporations and organizations limit themselves to no more than 10 course registrations when using the multi-student registration feature. Also keep in mind this course is hosted on our brand new online training platform, so let us know if you run into any bugs via our support@onlinetraining.education email address so we can get it fixed.

Thank you.
