The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) is updating its Strategic Highway Safety Plan (SHSP) and Active Transportation Safety Action Plan (ASTP). These comprehensive statewide plans will identify strategies for reducing fatalities and serious injuries by 20% for all users, whether driving, biking or walking.
The first in-person public meeting to provide an overview of the plans and seek public input will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, April 30 from 5:30-7 p.m. at Gateway Community College Washington Campus (Copper Room), 108 N 40th St, in Phoenix. Additional in-person and virtual meetings will be held throughout the state as follows:

The public can provide feedback on safety concerns and help identify potential safety strategies to incorporate in the safety plans through May 17 in the following ways:
